About JX: Built in 1905, the Connolly Shoe Factory was renovated in 2016 to become JX Event Venue, one of the largest event venues in Minnesota. With the lavish and modern renovation of the building, JX Event Venue boasts 14,000 sq feet of event space and has a capacity of up to 720 guests. The venue is perfect for large weddings, small celebrations and everything in between. JX Event Venue is located in beautiful downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. The historic building itself is 40,000 sq feet and includes a full service hair and makeup salon, a world-class photography & videography studio, a speakeasy, escape rooms, an axe throwing bar, and more.
